András Balogh
András Balogh (born on 6 March 1944 in Budapest) is a Hungarian historian and diplomat, the current ambassador to Thailand. His party, the Hungarian Socialist Party (MSZP) nominated him to the position of President of Hungary in 2010. During an indirect election Viktor Orbán's and the Fidesz-KDNP's candidate Pál Schmitt was elected by an overwhelming majority.
